EU Enlargements in the BALKANS

A documentary production exploring the European migration crisis in the Balkans, filmed across Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.

The film examines how migration flows have affected border regions, reception systems, and local communities, focusing on border areas, refugee camps, and transit routes across the Western Balkans, with interviews featuring migrants, local residents, and stakeholders to present multiple perspectives on the situation.

The production involved full pre-production work, location scouting, fixer services, interview logistics, and on-location filming across multiple sensitive sites in the region.

The documentary also situates the story within the broader context of EU enlargement and geopolitical dynamics in Southeast Europe.
